NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti “Alleged” Specs Leaked

The purported specs of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card have been revealed and it may match the RTX 3090 Ti in terms of performance.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti reportedly boasts 7680 cores, 12GB GDDR6X memory and RTX 3090 Ti performance
According to the lessor Kopite7kimi, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti could end up being a beast of a card, delivering performance that matches the existing flagship GeForce RTX 4090 Ti. The lessor has reported new specifications and it appears that the 4070 Series will benefit from much higher power limits than their predecessors.
As I mentioned before, there is an AD104 SKU with a 400W limit.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 “expected” specs
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is expected to use the full AD104 GPU core with 7680 cores or 60 SM units. From previous leaks, we also know that the AD104 GPU will come with 48MB of L2 cache and up to 160 ROPs, which is just insane. This represents a 25% increase in core count and a 12x increase in cache compared to the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti which rocks the core of the GA104 GPU.

Clock speeds are not yet confirmed, but given that the TSMC 4N process is used, we expect clocks between 2.0 and 3.0 GHz. The higher than usual clock speed boost comes from NVIDIA jumping two nodes since the Ampere GPUs with the Samsung 8nm node were actually a 10nm process node with some optimizations. NVIDIA skips 7nm and goes straight for a 5nm node and not even the vanilla variant but an optimized version of it. With Pascal on the 16nm TSMC node, NVIDIA achieved a huge jump in frequency and we can expect a similar jump this time around as well.
As far as memory specs go, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is expected to rock 12GB GDDR6X capabilities which would be clocked at 21Gbps speeds on a 192-bit bus interface for 504GB/s bandwidth. While the RTX 4070 should rock a 300W PBT the RTX 4070 Ti can end up with a power limit as high as 400W. Now, that might be the power limit for custom designs with the Founders Edition hovering around the 325-350W power limit. The graphics card should be based on the PG141-SKU331 PCB design.

Regarding its feature set, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics cards would rock all modern NV feature sets such as latest 4th Gen Tensor cores, 3rd Gen RT cores and latest NVENC encoder and NVCDEC decoder , and support for the latest APIs. They will also contain all modern RTX features such as DLSS, Reflex, Broadcast, Resizable-BAR, Freestyle, Ansel, Highlights, Shadowplay and G-SYNC. The performance is said to easily match an RTX 3090 Ti which is a US$1999 (MSRP) card. So we can look at that kind of performance on a $599-$649 graphics card.
