Body found Saturday night within two blocks of the White House

A body was found Saturday night near the White House grounds, according to the D.C. police.

The man was found in the 800 block of Vermont Avenue NW, adjacent to Lafayette Square. The public park is across the street from the White House and its north lawn. It is considered part of the White House grounds.
