A box truck from beer and wine distributor, Aslin Beer Co., hopped a Jersey wall on the outbound 14th Street Bridge in D.C. just before 3 a.m. Friday.
The crash comes on a day that is heavily traveled as people make their way in and out of town for the Christmas holiday.
Traffic on the outbound 14th Street Bridge gets by in a single left lane.
At 7:30 a.m., WTOP Traffic said the delays were to the 3rd Street Tunnel.
The cleanup is expected to last through much of the morning rush, WTOP Traffic said.
